My KBAC 24D has been pushing an "overcharge" error code, but my voltmeter is showing that it is inputting 122. I use this sucker everyday and really don't want to send it in to get fixed because I'll have to buy another while this one is getting worked on. It looks like a "recovered overvoltage," but I have no idea how to fix that. Either way; my stuff ain't running! Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Do you have a second meter you could test the input with? While the chance is low It is quite possible the meter is reading incorrectly.

Just the one, and it is brand new since the first one died. :grumpy:

I doubt if it is the input voltage that is the problem, the buss voltage internal to the drive is most likely the culprit, try switching the vfd on with the speed pot all of the way down and then slowly up to desired speed, and then to turn it off, slowly turn the speed pot down to minimum speed and then off by the switch. my guess is that either your accel, deccel is set to fast or there is a problem internal to the drive.

Hope this helps, Jerry

Tried all the above, but no luck. Had to next-day another one and will be sending this one in for repairs. Thanks all!
