I'd like to congradulate Karl Andersen and also Phillip Patton as two of the makers that will have 'breakout' years in '08. No slight to others already mentioned here and in the latest issue of Blade, but I've had smaller business dealings with both of them over the last couple of years and think only the best from those experiences.

I'd like to acknowledge both as very generous teachers on the forums, with Karl in particular pushing the bar up on fit and finish, and heat treat performance. Wish him luck this year when he goes for his ABS JS at the Blade show in Atlanta.

Take care, Craig

1. "Wish" or "predict" a "breakout year" at the beginning, and congratulate at the end, if it happens.....othewise, your comments just come off as strange, like you can see the future, or something like Nostradamus;).

2. Good luck to both of these fine gentlemen, and may you both have a "breakout" year.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Thanks, Craig. (I'm workin' HARD!)
It's nice to be noticed!
Steve, I think his "congratulations" refer to our mention in the Blade Magazine article.
Here's to '08!

Hi STeven,
Sorry for the strange comments. I should have just said it was great to see good folks get some national recognition in an article. No predictions here, but I'll join you in wishing good luck to both.

Take care, Craig

I didn't initially catch that is was a reference to the article, either.

Congrats to two really good guys.

Roger

Congratulations Karl and Phillip! The more I see and hear, the more I like. Lin

Good to see Phillip and Karl in Blade. KBA, you've made me look at 5160 again, thanks for posting your reasearch and methods.
John

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! And thanks especially to whichever one of you mentioned me to the author of the article. :)
Oh, and congratulations to the others who were mentioned.
