KD to the rescue

I decided to work out in my shop for a little bit today. When I walked outside I quickly realized that the temp was right around 0 degrees. So I decided to fire up the old wood burner. With my KD in hand I started splitting a 2x4. Then made a fuze stick to get the fire started. With in 30 seconds I had a nice little starter fire going and ten min later some good sized logs were crackling. It is amazing how just taking the chill out of the air can make working not seem so much like work. So lets get a fire thread to keep us warm on these cold days.




 
Great thread. And thats a sweet Kill Devil!! Looks like the Muddy coating.....If you tell me it has Green and black G10 ill be really jealous :D

These pictures were taken a few months ago when i was out camping with Jody and Sue, but its my most recent fire pictures...

Im jealous :grumpy: Great choice though!!

I remember seeing that same type of KD in that same color combo in a picture posted around here somewhere and i WANTED it.

The drop point RMD i have on order now is getting that combo. Those colors go together very well.
 
Love the KD's!!! :cool:

I find the spike pretty useful and prefer that version, but the hammer poll variant is growing on me.

I have more edged weapons than I can shake a stick at, and the KDSH is among my most beloved..........if not my very favorite.

Yea i love my spiked version, that spike is awesome. Penetrates anything. I prefer the spiked versions really... But id love to have the hammer poll version as well.

We need both of course :D

Yea man, i had to sell my first one when the wife's car broke down... But within 24 hours of selling it, i had already worked a deal and had another one on the way. Its on of those i cant and wont go without anymore.
