I am having issues posting a thread with pictures here for some reason.....

Edit... I guess it was just too long, or too many pictures or something for one post.

Just got back from spending a couple hours playing with my new KDSH and i fell in love with this thing in the first few minutes! I took a few pictures while i was out and i like to share them and a little about my experience.

I started off trying to find somewhere to get out the big city of philadelphia, somewhere to play with my hawk in the woods, away from people and noise. So after looking online forever at satellite images and maps and stuff i had the wife drop me off, right off the side of some road in Media PA,..... not too far from Ridley creek state park....

So i say goodbye to the road, And my journey begins......

I hike for about 15 minutes until im far from the sounds of civilization, Then i look for a dead, or close to dead tree to use as a throwing target. I find the perfect one, the stump was still standing about 6 feet tall and dead all over, the fell tree made a great table and cutting board. Nature provides all
we need.

Without a 2nd thought i unsnap my hawk, take 5 paces back and.......

I dont believe it, really? the first try? Drop my bag and take off my shirt - hey its like 90 degress out here, now..lets try that again... that must have been a fluke....

And again?

And Again?

Now i honestly have NO experience in throwing hawks. I have thrown some knives but this is not the same at all. This thing
was made to fly, Out of 40-50 throws at most 4-5 may have bounced off due to my error, THE REST ALL STUCK IN.

And A little more fun

These cut like carrots!

And here are some pictures of the area, After taking these i put the camera away and tried to chop the world down, then i threw a few more times and started hiking out.

I found a few pools of water in the roots of trees, this one had worms all in it and around, they were small and hard to see but
there is one visable in this picture

I had my compact fishing pole and some tackle but didnt come across deep enough water for fishing. I did find a very small creek

And then I stopped for a snack

And at this point i put my camera away and played around for a while before hiking back to the road and waiting for my ride.

The KDSH quickly became my favorite piece of steel to "PLAY" with!

And to summarize my review

-The Kill Devil-

It flys like an eagle
and bites like a snake,
whatever you toss at it
the kill devil can take!

It flys through the air,
glorius with might
my oppenents run fast,
too afraid to fight!

The fire burns high,
the fire burns bright,
No wood is needed,
Its fueled by sight

You think its a game,
and maybe a joke,
But It puts your chopper to shame,
And thats all she spoke!

Thats awesome man! I didnt get any handle sticks !!

I didnt have any beer either :(

But it was too hot anyway-

Great Review and looks like it was a fun day!!!! Thanks for that. I really wasn't looking to buy a KDSH until this post...

I have to deal with Elof making buy another knife all the time :)

Lmao....

You post pictures of a lot of nice knives! And then i go buy the knives in your pictures, because i just HAVE to have them. Like the Drop R6 for instance :) And then i blame you -joke-

I suppose I should be careful with posting pictures then... don't want your wife coming to Australia just to kill me...;)

I have an addictive personality, There are some underlying issues that force me to need beyond reason, it is a void, and a void must be filled, it can not simply be crossed, you can throw obstacles in its path but the void will still need to be filled.

Or so i hear.....Lmao

:)

If the beer is cold then its great in the sun, but i wasnt carrying any ice cooler and hot beer is a no go!

A warm scotch on the other hand....:)

I got an ice cold Yuengling black and tan in each hand right now making up for it though!
