Where is this knife? I've been looking for a pic or manufacturer, and I keep finding reviews of the knife, so it must exist...anyone?--Joe

I believe that various people have made them. The only one I'm certain of is Bob Dozier, because I've seen a few of his for sale on various sites. I don't know whether he still does them or not, but you could always call him and ask.

You can call James Keating directly at jameskeating.com if you want more information about the "Crossada". Robert Newton is the current maker of this knife. I recently purchased a Bowie "Crossada" made by Mr. Newton. Most of the crossada knives that are out their are spear point blades. I choose the Bowie style because it has slightly better "back cutting" ability than the spear point. It's made of blued 5160 steel and comes with fighting guards and detachable quillions . Just like the spear point model. This knife is a "pure" fighting blade.

Thought Tom Krein was still making the Crossada for Mr. Keating? Regardless, very cool knife, but pretty specific in it's use.
