Kee Lee (Hong Kong) cleavers

I grabbed this lot recently. I wasn't really sure to expect but I'm quite happy. They vary in thickness from quite thin (vegetable choppers) to thick meat cleavers. All are carbon steel and covered in some kind of brown gunk. The largest of the bunch is the meat cleaver with a 9 x 5 inch blade. I'm quite happy especially considering I got them for just under $5 each shipped.

They are great cleavers, clean them up and use and abuse them. I have cleavers that cost hundreds more, but I keep comming back to my cheap chinese made stuff.
