am i remembering correctly that Keen Kutter was a Schrade manufactured knife? and yes have searched Keen Kutter and really didn't find that answer to my question. course that being said i am not that good at the search thing unless it involves gin and my cupboard
 
Goins' 1998: trademark owned by E.C. Simmons 1870-1940. Owned by Shapleigh 1940-1960. Owned by Val Test 1960-1965.

Schrade MAY have owned it for a short time after that. Who owns it now? SMKW? Stewart Taylor?

Schrade definitley made some Keen Kutter knives.
 
Schrade made some Keen Kutter knives back in the day and did a special anniversary edition though I forget the year. 1969? Seems like it was a wood boxed 897UH but I could be wrong. Someone here remembers and it should show on a search. Pictures may even survive.

There may even be a 3.25" 55/855 pattern that was made in 1969 too. ;)
