Ordered my first Case the other night. A Case RussLock 7057 Navy Blue Bone. As I wait I am falling for all of these simple elegant pocket knives again. Thinking about purchasing the Case Trapperlock with synthetic delrin handles. Now I see all these guys loving the GEC brand and others. I never thought I would even be wanting or looking for a pocket knife like this again. We spend so much time on the newer folders/tactical folders...I am on fire as I wait for my ZT 0560! hmmm Help a guy out. Show pics of your Case or GEC...whatever simple pocket knife you EDC along with your favorite tactical folder/folder or grail knife. Thanks!!

I love 'em all! I still like lighter Case knives for EDC. I've since added the new CTS-XHP Paramilitary.

Yea it has a good snap...not like the early ones though. Besides, it was half-off when I picked it up haha.

Haha yea it is...the exact same knife too! I still carry it from time to time but my swayback gent has been monopolizing my pocket haha. And thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it!

I recently bought a new CV folding hunter from the chestnut bone series. http://www.wrcase.com/knives/by_steel/cv/browse.php?Family=%27Chestnut%20Bone%20CV%27&CV=%271%27

I wanted to retire the old one I carry and use ( made between 1940 and 1964 sometime). It's been sharpened enough to substantially remove steel from the blades. The new one is every bit as well made as the old one. CV Case are the only ones I'll buy. Either they have upped their game overall or Case does a better job on their CV line. I stopped buying Case stainless knives about 5 -6 years ago after buying some fairly bad examples that needed to be sent back including a mini copperlock that wouldn't release when the button was depressed. I did make an exception for a BG42 Slimlock but came to the conclusion that was overpriced after buying a BG42 custom shop Buck 110 back when they offered the steel.

I do like most of the GEC knives I've tried. I'm currently trying to find where/how to get an O-1 Soddie "bullet nose?". I think it's a special run for a forum or something. I do like O-1 very much. !

Nice, brets. Hilarious pic on the bottom! Rubberband clip action.

thanks, that last one was stolen from KF but I thought it would be worth the share

congrats on the new buy, and the GEC sodbuster is a "bull nose" which was a revival of one of their older models, there was a thread in traditionals about it not too long ago

Wow! made and trav...beautiful!! I have tears in my eyes. One day I'll be a big boy and have a collection like that. Do your women love your knife hobby also?;) What is your favorite Russlock travclem? I almost bought that one with the Case sliverscript. Went with the blue because my son liked it better. Is that walnut handles along with the silverscript? Nice, I like. Amazing blades guys.

Thanks man! Yeah My wife buys me knives and has a few of her own, knives are my cheap hobby. My favorite Russlock is the Calypso blue drop point. The one with script is cranberry bone.
