Every year for the past 3 or 4 i started buying the new year buck 110 at my local Walmart. Thankfully the pack it comes in has the blade exposed so i can see the
year.
This year of course they switched to the Ebony Hardwood so it was even easier to see they finally exhausted their supply of Macassar shod 110’s when i gazed into the locked case and saw the new graphics.
As i stated i like “keeping it simple”and to some it’s nothing special but once a year (or more) i get all fuzzy in side.

I got fuzzy looking at your new york strip and kalinga steak knife.

Ah, the simple pleasures!

That's some handsome and patriotic packaging. The Ebony 110... what else needs to be said. This is as good as it gets. Go Buck!

Gotta keep an eye out for this packaging, my dad's getting one for Father's day whether or not he gets it on time :D
He hasn't had a 110 since leaving from the army back in '78 and that's gonna change this year I tell ya.

looked today at my local box store at lunch........only dymondwood type 110s in stock still........

I work at Lowes and we carry 2x110’s on the hook in the Tool World and they don’t really sell fast. They haven’t got the Ebony yet.
I think they should replace the original with the less expensive 110LT. Think the LT is more a tool then a knife and tradesmen wouldn’t worry about using and abusing it as much as the beautiful original 110. JMHO.
