Last fall I lost the little Keershaw Leek I carry around. I think it's a dandy little knife. I was cleaning up around my place, pulling brush out to the pile to be burned. As I dragged the brush across my drive towards to pile, I looked down into the freshly disturbed gravel, and there it was. I picked it up, brushed the dirt off, and opened it. It opened as smooth as can be. Didn't even have rust on it. It had been buried in my driveway for 6 months, had four feet of snow on it, had been driven over by both my truck and my tractor, and, well..I'm amazed. And happy to have it back. Not bad for the $30 or 40 bucks I paid for it. Ken Onion and Keershaw sure did a good job on this little knife.

Stacy, I though Ken would have a web site, if he does i can't find it.Do you have his contact info?

Dave

Go to his site, bcome a member of his forums, and post a thread about your Leek. That's what I'd do. Good story.

That's great! I lost mine a few years ago, it turned up under my washing machine all covered in lint and no doubt wet most of the time.Same thing, put it right to work ! great little knife for the $

Hi Guys,

I haven't taken any action yet as I'm on a business trip. I'll send a letter or do somethin g, and let you know if I hear anything back.

Speaking of finding a Ken Onion knife, whatever happened with the knives that were stolen from him on his way to a knife show? Did he ever get any info on them?

Back to the top. Sent Ken a message. Hope this brightens up his day.

What a nice story. I am happy to hear that your knife went through so much hell and is still smooth and serviceable. That is a true testament to the durability and quality of the leek. It always puts a smile on my face when I hear experiences such as this .

Ken, yep, still have it. Still functioning and cutting like a charm. Glad you enjoyed this story.
