I've only seen his work in photos and they seem nice. Any of you out there own one from KK?
Any of you used or handled one? Opinions appreciated!

Thx

I have a Keith Kilby damascus blade in a silver filigree scabbard by Zaza Revishvili. Keith's work is very nice and it's no secret why he earned his ABS master smith rating.

Keith is a great guy. Excellent knife maker. I have one of his damascus small fighters. Good man to have make your knife.

Cheers,

Keith lived in Georgia for a while, so I have been lucky to have gotten to know him a little over the years. He is an A.B.S. Mastersmith and was featured in Georgia Public TV had a production on smithing.

Most knives I have seen of Keith's are a large variety of fixed blades and his favorite seem to be stag bowies. I would love to add one of his to my collection some day. My friend Blues beat me to one :D

He is also known for beautiful and serious working damascus.

Not only does he make beautiful blades, they are performers as well. He has always been a gentleman and willing to share his knowledge of the art. I would say you can have complete confidence in any product that Keith produces.

Thank you for the beautiful scan Blues, and everyone else for your positive input.

I plan now to write to him directly, by snail mail (Keith doesn't have a website, does he?).

Best regards.
