Hey folks.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the new Kel-Tec SU-16 rifle? From the looks of it, it'd make a dandy back seat or tractor gun, and there's nothing around here that a .223 won't knock down.

Pictures and specs can be found here:

Thanks,

I have the Keltec sub 2000, the 9mm model. It is a fun little firearm. Compact beyond belief. The factor sites are a little cheezy, but accurate enough for plinking. It has been reliable.

That rifle is fugly!

On another note, how can anyone trust a firearms manufacturer that refers to a magazine as a "clip" and a cartridge as a "bullet"?

You are paying for the ability to fold the rifle in half. How often are you going to do that?

Buy a Ruger Ranch Rifle and a 4 x 32 'scope. Spend the rest of the savings on decent ammo.

I find that the Kel-Tec pistol is very nice and comfortable to wear during the summer in light clothes. Put I dont think its ment for serious use thou. Maybe light plinking.

For about 50 bucks more I would rather have a BA AR-15

i agree, though the kel tec is a neat little rifle, i can think of lots of rifles were ya would get more bang for buck, ie AK's, AR's, even a mini 14.
