I recently picked up this mini Damascus/Stag Friction Folder on a whim. It's built pretty nicely, and is quite solid for such a small knife, but I know nothing of the comany. Anyone know anything about Kelgin Fine Cutlery? Thanks for any info.

Ken Largin. A long time knifemaker, now knifemaking instructor. Teaches knifemaking out of a trailer in the parking lot of Smoky Mountain Knife Works store. Makes a good knife; always has, and at affordable prices. Nice guy to talk to, too.

A few more of the blade and in palm.

haha i saw the knife and thought oh that looks pretty brutal. then i saw the full view in your hand and its soo much smaller than i thought. still nice though. very natural look to it.

I have one of Ken`s balisongs (brass handles with cocobolo inserts), must be 25-30 years old now....not a bad knife....
