I guess this is the right forum
Hi all
I'm Trent!!
I am new to this subforum because I am a cheapo and can't afford custom knives yet
What can you guys tell me about this Kelgin dude?
I got these 2 knives for 5 bucks
He started out making miniatures?
I don't see any mark on the bottom knife....

"Kelgin" is a contraction of his name - Ken Largin.
Currently helps operate the Knife Museum at Smoky Mountain Knifeworks and he and his wife, Paula, run a knife consortium there as well.
Ken's been around a long time.
Once ground kit blades for Knife and Gun Finishing Supplies.
Back in '98 or so, he had already personally ground more than 35,000 blades.
Has a traveling knife instruction bus where he'll come to you and give knife instruction.
He was the first professional knife maker I ever met.
Stand up guy.
I know nothing of his miniatures.
