I did a search on the Kellam Wolverines but didn't get much info on user experience.

Anybody have one of these good looking knives? The wolf pack series has a first-run numbered 1-100 and I wouldn't want to miss out if they are worth the money.

Thanks.

I have one and by the time I cut up 3 carboard boxes the blade would no longer shave hair from my arm(it did when I first got it). When I told kellam they wanted me to send it back to them for replacement but I chose not to since I sharpen all of my knives myself. I also have one of their $300+ puukkos which is all hand made by one knife smith and it is a very nice knife. I guess that you get what you pay for and the Wolverine is not one of their more expensive knives.

I picked one of these up saturday at the Blade show. I had always wanted one so thought I would try it. I have not used it and may never but I think it would be a decent knife for the money. I just wanted one for my collection.

Do you mean you just opened three boxes, or sliced three boxes up into strips?

Cliff,
I cut the all up into small pieces to put them in the recycle bins.

It sounds like you got a good knife to me as I can only go through two boxes before I need to strop my Martiini knives. Also please remember that cardboard boxes contain a dulling glue that is tough on a knife edge. :)

That sounds like a decent amount of cardboard to me as well, assuming decent sized boxes. Did Kellam actually expect the knife to not be dulled?
