Just trying to narrow down the year on this Hickory double bit. I know it was manufactured by the Warren A&T Co. However, it does not have the W and year stamp on it, just stamped Warren A&T Co on the back. On the front there looks to be either a 03 or a 23 above the main logo and possibly a S below the main logo. Hopefully the pics show clearly. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Could you take more pictures please of the top of the eye and edges?Thats got a chemical axe look to it.You could look for old catalogs with similar logos to get a roundabout time frame, think warren went out of business in the early 50s.

Thanks. I have been trying to find old catalogs. Here are additional pics. Regardless of the age I really like this double bit. Many of the my axes move on as gifts or sold, think this one is a keeper 👍

Looks like it had a vinegar bath.
It's likely stamped 3/3 on the cheeks, that is weight representing three and three quarter pounds. The S is for Sager.
No way of pinning down the date with out a date stamp. Some axes are stamped on the bottom next to the eye.
