I recently bought a tnt crate with 4 hatchets and 1 axe head in it. Didn't pay any attention to the axe head as it was rusty with discernable markings and crazy mushroom butt. After letting it soak for a day in evaporust and taking a wire wheel to it. I can see stamping along the poll that is partially wrecked. I can make out
KELL

After the KELL is a few partial letters that I think say VULCAN.
Is this axe head really from turn of the century?
