Kelly for Bear & Double Ott...

...and anyone else interested. Here are two of my Kellys. These are the same model and the pics show the stamp from both sides. One of these axes belonged to my Dad. I rehanged it for him when he retired and he used it as a wood-pile axe for another twenty years. By the look of the haft he had a good eye. I have also used this axe a lot but last week decided to retire her. This may not be my best axe but for obvious reasons she is my favorite. She's on a 36" haft (Dad's favorite)

...the other Kelly is on a 32" haft. My favorite length for this size axe. I also like the balance and feel of this old girl...just love the depth of the haft belly.

its nice to know that you have your dads old axe! i would 'retire' her as well and display her proudly... im sure you can find a grandson that would appreciate her...
