Kelly Kettle

I am interested in getting one of these. While looking around the 'net for one, it really seems like ordering direct from the company is the best option. Even Ebay can't beat their price when shipping cost if added into the mix.

Since I have never held one in my hand, I am curious if anyone around this forum has and what their impression of it was. Is it worth the money? Is build quality good? Does it live up to the promise of heating pretty fast and efficiently?

Thanks everyone!

I've had one of these for years (I bought it at a garage sale).

It does just what it says on the can. Keep it in the trunk of the car for a quick brew up in remote places. Great. The Kelly kettle looks as good though probably lighter being made in aluminium. Mine is copper and a bit weighty to carry far..

I got a reply from the Kelly Kettle company to confirm that they do in fact ship to the USA for only 5 Euro. Considering package weight is probably 3 pounds, I was surprised even though it takes about 14 days to get here.

Macdo, Thanks for that link! I really like the looks of that copper unit.
