It seemed like the KP Jerseys were a hotter than a festered fart there for awhile. I had another one pass through my hands, but I landed another one recently on the bay. Here's some pics just for fun.
My "ladies in waiting" box. It's kinda sad, really.
In really good shape. I paid $42 shipped for this, which isn't exactly a steal. However, I bet I could double my money on the bay if I were so inclined.
It's cousin, the Flint Edge hewing hatchet, is my drift persuader. The drift is a chunk off an old hickory handle that was scrapped.
Special thanks to my four year old boy for taking this photo. It's funny when he takes pics, because the camera is bigger than his head.
The band saw makes super quick work of extending the kerf.
The handle was a little too fat for my liking, so I took the opportunity to make it octagonal. Spoke shave is the tool of choice for that. This handle is ash and OAL is right at 32", which is a great length. I can't seem to find 32" handles locally. This one CooperHill picked up for me and shipped it to Idaho. Thanks, Dude!
Maybe I'll call this one "B-67." Just a random idea.
Not the deepest stamp I've ever seen, but I like this one a lot overall.
Take care,
Matt
