I recently bought an old fixed blade knife. Upon further inspection I could tell the blade had been buffed ALOT. I discovered a raven etched on the blade with Black Raven written above it. I’ve tried to capture the etching reminants with a camera but could not. Does anyone here have any information on something like this? Thanks in advance.

We'll need a picture.
I've never heard of such a knife, is it a hunting knife of some kind or say a butch knife ?

It is a hunting knife with a blade about 5 inches long. Full tang. I’ve collected knives for 40 years and have never seen one. I’m trying to upload pics and having a problem. I will post as soon as I can.

I don't know, but the handle doesn't look original and the blade sure looks like it was reshaped beyond just having been cleaned up and I'm not sure there's enough of the original knife left to go off of.

Correct, the handle isn’t original. I still came out ahead, she cost me $.99. Thanks for the feedback!

I think I got it. I have descriptions on some of the photos. I can read the black raven writing and see the bird but can’t capture it completely with my camera due to it being so faint.
As far as I know Kelly did not offer any Black Raven knives. There were some Marca WC Kelly Bolo knives and machetes.
