Just got this one in the mail a couple of days ago. It's a David Wesner KC-4MC (Modified Clip) chopper. 12 3/8" A2 blade with black/blue G-10 laminate scales. The scales are shaped to have a bit of palm swell and are textured G-10 in the middle. Extremely comfortable in the hand. Absolutely great work in terms of attention to detail--from the communication that David provides, to the sheath work, to every part of the knife itself.

This is one monster of a chopper, and I can't wait to get it outside for a test run.

You can check out more of David's work at http://www.kelseycreekknifeworks.com/

I saw it the first time he offered it here, and as you guys have posted about it since then you have finally got to me. I put my order in & can't wait to get it.

That is a beast! His knives look really nice, looks like I may have to place an order :D

Thanks so much Guyon  Now go put a good thrashing to that Bad Boy ;) and tell us how she performs :D Thank you to all for the great feedback :)

Hi David. I haven't made it yet but I will probably just call you. I'm really interested in the KC-4 with the 12.50" blade and micarta handles. I'll be in touch! :D

Couldn't decide between a 9.50" blade and a 12.50" blade. But the more I looked at the one Guyon has I couldn't resist that loger blade. What is construction time like? On the underlay material, is there a tan color? I'm thinking that a green micarta handle with a tan underlay would look good.
