Just thought I'd show a quik pic of some more of the cow bone from last summers river drawdown. I dyed the bone first then stabilized it as you can see, I actually built up the cyanoacrylate to preserve the bark then took it back down. Steel is ats-34, 1/16" stock, Frame is 416 ss, liners and bolsters integral. The knife isn't for sale it belongs to my niece. Take a look. Ken.

Looks like the cow just got done using it. :)

I like it. It looks kind of like mammoth with the lines in it.

One of a kind - just beautiful.
Your niece is a lucky girl.
Thanks for showing.

Just the way I like it - medium/rare.

Beautiful knife with a very original twist.

Uncle Ken, I am a very lucky girl not only because this beauty will be mine but also because I have an Uncle that is very talented!

(I might just have to come and pick it up today because I do not think I can wait two weeks until we get back from our Florida Trip to see it!)

I've got a friend that owns a company in New Mexico that does it big time on dinosaur
bones, long story short, super glue or different types of cyanoacrylate. I basically get
it as close to size as possible and let it sit in a puddle of super glue till dry. I do this numerous times till I've actually built up the surface.
Thanks for all the comments .
Ken.

Wow, that's some nice looking bone. Haven't seen it done quite like that before, and what a nice color. Pretty amazing stuff there.
