The deepest lake in the state is Big Green (248' deep) and once we can get on it its a great put and take laker fishery. We usually fish for the ciscoes for the smoker but the Lakers Broil till just about a crust forms on the fillet, lemon butter and salt and pepper, don't think I'll ever get tired of eating them. These were taken in 110' of water from 75' to 90'down, a 25" laker is by no means a big trout but it is on light ice takle and 2# line. One of my very favorite winter pastimes. Ken.
