I am coming up on my 5,000 post and wanted to give back to this community something that means something to me and is an excellent representation of a traditional knife. The rules are quite simple, the first person to send me a PM after I hit # 5,000 will win it. If you pm for other reasons, it will not be counted against you. In the PM, The subject matter MUST be Ken Coats, if I receive one with that subject matter before 5,000, you are out. Note, I know all reading this post are not able to send PM's, however, this is a great time to upgrade your forum experience and become gold or platinum. This knife is well worth the chance. I respect each of you guys and gals and wanted to do something for this great community. Contest is open to Mods and Super Mods as well.
Thanks Again for all your support both publicly and privately with some of the problems I have been going through.

thats a nice one. Not too fond of the toothpick pattern but that one I could deal with. Nice gesture there.

Vince, I will be posting soon some photos of that old Imperial I got from you. Had the lazy pen blade replaced with an Imperial punch blade and it has its old snap back. The scales were replaced with Ironwood. It is raining today and lighting is not good. Thanks Again, It is sharp and will be a good user knife.

I can mess with Dad's internet connection (at his house and at his office) so that it stalls when he gets close to that 5,000th post?!?!?!

(Just kidding Dad - but you really have to stop giving away the nice 'uns!) :)

He just mad, because he thinks when I leave this world, the collection would be his, too bad, so sad, I have already given the collection to grandsons.:p
There are just too young right now to handle them.

Jim,this was a cool & generous G-A Congrats Rat...
I was too busy to be available to try for that toothpick,and I am thankful for that
I am also glad to hear you had that knife (Imperial) tuned up & look forward to seeing it

I'm sorry to announce that Dad handed the knife over to me last night to mail it out today....

And for some unknown reason, I now cannot find that knife... :o

Rat, can I send you the knife with the skull and crossbones on it which I saw at the local quick stop this morning instead? ;)
 
Rat, I took a BIG Busse and Byron "found" the knife, in mailbox now.;)
