I recently grabbed this one from the 'makers F/S' board and thought I'd share a few pics. The knife is 4 3/16" closed, 7 5/8" open, only 3/8" thick, and weighs a feathery 1.8 oz.

The 3 7/16" ATS34 blade is beautifully finished and has graceful and symmetrical swedge work that displays a steady hand and a lot of confidence. Scales are stabilized California buckeye burl that reminds me of some old-time celluloids I've seen.

The sunk joint, svelte handle, fine point and light weight make it feel more like a large penknife than a Jack, but I have no doubt that it'll cut like the latter. Ergos and balance are excellent - it handles like a scalpel.

Oh boy that looks nice! I really like the shape of that blade and the swedges and nail nick are just perfect. Congratulations! Nice pics too.

WOW, what a beauty
Thanks for sharing those great photos. They really show how fine that blade is.

Beautiful knife, amazing and dramatic swedge, the knife flows from tip to tail, congrats.

Robin

That is a fine looking folder, and the photos are a pleasure. Thanks for sharing those, and congrats on acquiring a Coats shadow.

wow, that is suh-weet! And just look at that blade-spring-liner shot, perfectly flush - nice job, real nice!

I don't normally care much for wood scales, but that looks great!

The nail nick and swedge are fantastic.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I'm sure Ken appreciates em, and I'm one happy camper.

Thanks Rick, wish to hell I could take pics like that.
Ken.

Thanks Ken, but I'd happily trade my photography skills, such as they are, for your knife making abilities. :)
