I normally don't buy knives sight unseen and it is even more rare that I buy a knife from somebody I have never heard of. But, I made an exception and bought a little knife off Ebay. I tried to post a picture, and the picture is only 77kb, but it said the picture was too big. I will be glad to send the picture to anybody who may know the maker, as I am looking for any info possible. The maker is from Florida, and that's about all I know, other than the knife is drop dead gorgeous.

Doggett did some of his pics and seems to know him so you may want to try him . Or as Neil stated , check his post and ya can may be able to make some contact that way . He really makes some awesome knives .

Danbo,
Ken and I have communicated a bit by email. He seems to be a standup guy to me, and is producing some really nice knives. Ken is a Deputy Sheriff / Knifemaker from Riverside, Florida. He is a member of the Florida Knifemaker's Association. All his contact info is available on the Internet, so I guess it's okay to post it here.

Here's a link to Ken's FKA Member Profile. It has the same info posted above, and also has some other examples of his work.

Check the Florida Knifemakers Association for Ken Davis. Awhile back Ken was selling some SS Damascus & ATS 34 mini knives that went like 'hotcakes'!

I met him at our FKA show last October.Super nice guy and very talented. You won't be sorry with his work or his nature.Dave:D

Terry provided all the vitals. Ken is definitely a maker I would buy a knife from site unseen, and a great guy, to boot.

This man makes a fine knife!

It feels even better than it looks!

Thanks for posting the pic. :) I only hope it is half as nice as the pictures show! Look at that pearl!

What everyone else said. Although I've never actually held one of Ken's, I believe them to be a good value. This conversation is supportive of that.

Check out this particular folder that is offered on eBay from a purveyor. This folder is SOOOOOO beautiful in shape, that I just can't keep my eyes off it. Rarely does a maker--especially a new one--have such a sense of design and curves. This floats my boat. :)

Ken Davis stag folder (I have no involvement in this sale--just happened to see it)
