This is for those of you who may not venture into the traditional forum.
Just got this one today. First let me say that working with Ken has been a sheer pleasure , communication was excellent , both by phone and email. He gave me constant updates as the knife progressed.
I knew exactly what I wanted when I spoke with him and he delivered it all in spades. The only thing I wasn't sure on was scales , what he suggested fit what I wanted to a T !
Crafstmanship is top notch. Spine is flush in the closed , 1/2 stop and open position. Has good snap yet aint a nail buster to open. I loved where he positioned the nail nick , in my opinion this makes it easier to open while along the spring to be stronger. Excellent touch !
Scale fit is purfect , grinds are spot on and it is SHARP !
Specs from Ken.
ATS-34 blade and spring , half stop
410 milled, relieved liners and bolsters
flat ground, as ground finish on blade
cut swedge
brown paper Micarta scales jigged
Here's a compact lil EDC package eh ?
Hard to believe it can get any better than this...
Thanks again Ken ! It will be my pleasure to put this one to use.
