I made this knife up on order for a Blade Forum member and he asked me to start a thread with some pictures. This knife is a bit different than my norm, size wise and the use of Mammoth Bark Ivory (supplied by owner). I really had a good time making this one up. :D

4 1/8 closed
CPM154 blades and spring , flat ground, satin finish
cut swedges
410 liners/bolsters
long pull on master and opposite side standard on Wharnie.
horse shoe shield , pinned
"cleaned" finish inside
half stops

Thanks for looking and any comments more than welcome.

Hey, that looks great! I like the nail nicks on opposite sides. I like that shield too, it goes well with the bark. Congrats to the new owner and to Ken for making such a fine looking knife.

Thanks for the kind comments!

This is the second shield I made up, the first one was more of a rendition or as the new owner called it "cartoonish" The shield was a challenge right down to pinning it.

Great Job Ken, that horseshoe shield is a knockout. I bet it was the hardest part of the build. Congrats to you and the forum member who gets it.
