With absolutely no control over my knife appetite,I bought this one,and I do love the blue/black G-10.Ken's work is known.

Congratulations on your new knives Vince. Ken Erickson makes great stuff. I'm especially fond of his clip point blades.

Not to confuse anyone, but I traded the bolstered, for the shadow. But,I got to check 'em both out!!

Sweet...there'll be guys that are black n blue with envy now.:cool:

Very nice, lucky dog.

BTW, how do you like the Shadow? I recently picked up a Menefee BP shadow & like it alot more than I thought I would.

IIRC, you've picked up a couple (Or more) custom slippies lately.

I really am a big fan of these shadow custom slipjoints. They just work out great,IMO.

Great looking pair of knives. There's something uniquely appealing about a bird's eye shadow. I think you made a great trade.

I think it's a trade that worked out great. Both traders are very pleased! Thanks Vince.

Those knives are gorgeous. Great size/shape, impeccable workmanship, and a charming simplicity. They'd both be right at home in a jeans pocket or wearing a suit and tie. A truly versatile knife. If you can't tell, I want one. Congratulations.

Hey Vince, are you using it ?
it's 'easy' to buy one of Ken's knives (as long as you are in the right place at the exact right time), but it takes some 'courage' to go out and cut stuff with it.
Ken made me a 2 blade Jumbo Jack in D2 and Ebony awhile back. it was to be my primo EDC folder, but i still didn't get "the courage" yet.

I'm not sure about Vince, but I'm at the point that if I buy a knife it will be carried. It might not be everyday, but it will have pocket time. This can never get out to the wife, but, I'm running out of room for more stuff. Too many "collectible" hobbies, now it is time for "using" hobbies!

roland,as of yet,no,I have not carried it.But then,I just got it,along, with a few others ;) If there ever was an Erickson EDC,IMO,this is it!

Ken really does super fine primo quality work!

I see he just built & sold, here on BF's,another with the handsome blue/black G-10.I'm a fan of this material,I've owned 2 Halfrich knives with it & had about 4,or 5,Tom Krein knives, with it,Now,I have 2 from Tom on order, one real close to delivery ,and now, this one .
