Hi,
I just finished up this single blade 3.5 edc for a customer and thought I would share and get feed back on the jigged Brown paper Micarta scales.

Specs,
ATS-34 blade and spring
410 milled, relieved liners and bolsters
flat ground, as ground finish on blade
cut swedge
brown paper Micarta scales jigged
half stop

Thanks for looking and any comments more than welcome.

Ken

That's a winner, Ken! Congrats to you both.:cool:

Nice 1 Ken,
I like the scales!
Did you jig the micarta yourself?
Mitch

Sure looks good to me! Love the shield, bolster, and swedge combo with that jigging.

Thanks for the comments!

Ken Coats was nice enough to let me look at a piece of "old Remington bone" that Gene Shadley had given him a while back. When I jigged this set of Micarta scales I kept that jigging pattern in the back of my mind.

I think it looks GREAT. Havent' seen a lot of jigged micarta. I think more people should do it.

woohoo !! Now that is what I like...oh yeah , its mine. Come to poppa !!

Ken , the pleasure was all mine sir.

Purfect , everything I wanted and then some.

Now I need to get back in the que for another in a couple months. This time a wharnny of some sorts.

Had the choice , go to blade or get a new knife. I think I made the right choice.

Thanks again Ken !!

Great looking folder, Ken! Really like that blade...a lot. The jigged Micarta looks very nice. Another super slipjoint.
