Here is one that I made up for a customer. A scaled down swayback to 3 1/8 closed length. Have one more pattern to add then that will be it for a while I think!

I think some larger patterns do not scale down very well but over all I was real happy with how this swayback turned out. Any comments good or bad , more than welcome.

3 1/8 closed
410 milled frame/bolsters
ATS-34 blade and spring.
A little finer finish on the bolsters than I normally do 800 grit
half stop
antique ivory Micarta
federal shield

Thanks for looking!

I really like the looks of that! That's a real nice size for the pocket too.

Thanks for the comments !
The scale material is antique ivory Micarta, Thanks for asking, I left it out in the description but have edited it.

Ken,

I'm really impressed with this one:thumbup: The swedging (and everything else) looks simply stunning! Small knives are my first and true love of slipjoints, and even though my collection doesn't fully reflect that, what I carry does;)

You shouldn't have told 'em it was micarta though--let 'em think it was real ivory:D

Sweet lookin swayback Ken! You are nailing that nice old look to a great old pattern.

OK, I've caved... sent you an e-mail. Just too beautiful. I have to own one of these...

Just perfect. Bravo :cool::D:thumbup:

Fantastic work. The ivory look really sets this knife off. Fantastic.

Swayback's are about my favorite pattern, and I like how you've used the micarta. I want one!!

I heard from a reliable source that this one is headed down the Mississippi River to Missouri:D
