HI,

I have made this one to a customers specifications. Thought I would post a picture and get some feedback. This is the second swayback that I have made on this pattern and I do not know what it is about the swaybacks but I think a very very comfortable pattern shape.

3 5/8 closed
ATS-34 blade and spring
410 one piece milled frame/bolsters
A bit of file work which for me is a bit out of the norm but I think it works very well on this one.
Some really nice stag, I got lucky on this set. hard to find really nice stag
standard nail nick
half stop
walk and talk a seven! Thanks Elliott for the Poll!!

You're welcome, Ken. Anytime.

Very nice knife. You'll have one happy customer for sure.

Personally, (and speaking only for myself), I think I'd prefer that pattern without the file work as I think the stag and knife need no further embellishment beyond the shield. (This is not a criticism of the file work itself or the knife as it's easy enough to leave it off if the customer chooses to go that route.)

Hope you dont mind, but here is your other Swayback. Absolutely perfect fit & finish.

Ken, remember what I said about that little 3 1/8" swayback pattern:D

keep up the good work,

Nice looking swaybacks Ken! I notice some nice swedges beginning to show up on your blades....somebody's been practicing!:cool::D

Thanks for the kind comments! Funny thing with the swedges, which I am sure most of you guys are aware of. Makes a very dramatic change in the blade look and overall look of the knife but takes MUCH practice to make them look good. I think more skill in grinding the swedges then the blades them selfs! Again, thanks for noticing the swedges Kerry, means a lot coming from someone such as yourself.

Very nice Swaybacks, Ken! I can't decide which I like better. I have a soft spot for Ebony and Rattail bolsters. But that stag is exceptional!!

Those are very nice-looking swaybacks, Ken!
I just received my first swayback from Kerry, and I've fallen in love with the pattern. Next up for me, I think, will have to be a 2-blade swayback jack. Maybe we'll be talking in the near future... :)

I might have to start "Damn youing" over your work Ken really Slick takes
Love that pattern love oya that pattern!
