This was my lucky week. I have been on a list with several knife makers for some time and this was just my week.

This knife is one that Ken was building to my specs - kind of a modified shadow-ish trapper. We added a lanyard hole and Ken suggested this shield to set off the micarta. We used a thicker D2 steel for the blade. Closed it is aprox 4".

IMHO opinion this is one really nice daily carry knife, particularly if you are wearing slacks or a suit - it is really light and has a slim line making it feel as if it is almost not there - but yet it is one sturdy bugger.

Ken did a terrific job on the construction - it just snaps. The micarta and badge just make it pop when i look at it and the fit and finish is perfect.

Ken is another one of the real up and comers that is well worth getting in line for a custom build. Really nice guy too!!!

when my # comes up on his list , would you mind if I had him make mine similar but with green micarata. That is nice .

Beautiful knife! Ken is on my short list of people to call if I come into surplus cash.

Congrats to maker and especially to 1200s, he is one of the good guys. The knife is really nice and could not have gone to a nicer person.
Enjoy and when you tire of it, send it South. Who to? Me of course.

John T. Wylie - Most glad you like it. Feel free to use the pattern - in fact, hope you post pics when you get yours. Ken just builds a really fabulous knife.

Mr. James Todd - am thinking that the only time this single blade will go south is when it is in my pocket:D Great to hear from you and thanks for the kind words.
