Hi Ken,
I just took this knife out for a check and light cleaning, and I can tell you it is still to me a very impressive knife. The half-stops are strong, and the tightness of the springs is perfect. I have carried it lightly and regularly keep it in the Sunday carry rotation. It is like a jewel. I really like the ATS-34 and the fit and finish are all as good as I can see they could be. It is hard to believe the difference in the fit and finish of a custom, but like I said it is more like a jewel than a knife. Any temptation to carry is increasingly met with hesitation.

I would like a nice crushed velvet style case, as the type used for Case pearls. Do you have cases or do you know where to find one?

And, do you recommend mineral oil for maintenance, or another type of oil?

Best,
Dave
