I thought I would post a few pictures of a trapper/wharncliffe that I recently sent out. After discussing with the new owner it was agreed I would post. Hope you enjoy as much as I did making this one. (this knife is sold and not available).

Tad over 3 1/2 inches closed
Pre-ban ivory scales (nice creamy/yellow color)
ATS-34 blades/springs satin finish
410 integral bolsters/frames
Fluted front bolster
Federal shield pinned
Half-stops
Crescent nail pulls both mark side

That thing is beautiful. Simply lovely scales, and what a nice configuration. Nice execution!
 
Sure is beautiful and the swedges look so sharply and precisely ground into the knife it seems they could cut too ;).

Someone is going to be very pleased with that stunner.

Ken,I prefer the nail nicks on the same side,like this WT.Looks great,as usual :thumbup:

I would like to see a pic of the scales in six or eight months. The ivory should begin to take on that warm tone. :thumbup:

That is about an optimum knife for me. Very - very nice looking knife you made! I have an inexpensive Case knife that is similar in style and I carry it all the time. Very handy blade shapes. Thank you for the post.
