Was there ever a KO custom Leek? I checked all over his website but didn't see anything.

I want to say no, but, I will settle for I don't think so. If you turn something up let us know.

The KO custom "Splinter" was the proto for the Leek. Ken only ever made 2 of them.

Bring yer checkbook...better yet, bring yer home equity line. :)

Really! Only two in existence? That would be one tough folder to get a hold of.

Imp, where is that picture from? A private collector's stash, or is that a picture that Ken took himself?

I took the pic when we had the 2 together. We've actually got quite a collection of custom pics from the past several years.

Ken was going to trash these knives as he considers them "defective". Stop pin holes were drilled in the inside of the handles but weren't used because the stop pin is the thumb stud. To Ken the extra holes on the inside of the handle make the knives less than perfect and bug the hell out of him. Some friends convinced him not to throw them away which is why they still exist.

Me: :Knock Knock:

KO: Who's there?

Me: Recycling Man. I'm here to take all your excess and defective metal away!

Ill be in Hawaii in 2 weeks, I'd gladly take any of Ken's "defective" knives off his hands (or out of his trash). :D

I think there is a Kershaw Subforum rule, somewhere, that you are required to share anything you find in Ken Onion's trash with the other regulars. ;):D

Hmmm . . . that would be a neat knife to track down :)

Didn't you recently score something interesting? ***cough*** IKBS***cough***

Too late.

Your attempt at retroactive revisionism, timestamp: Today, 12:13 PM

...rendering your link null and void.

:p

"retroactive revisionism", "exponentially expanding discussions", "hijacking" and "timestamp" are such vague terms/words.

Besides, You are an hour behind me. Therefore I posted the link a full hour before you even thought about dumpster-diving! :p
