Their price does not include shipping. Priority shipping would run between $10-$15 depending on weight and size of package. I have lowered the price to $62.95 shipped.

I bought the knife some time ago at a higher price, evidently they are cutting prices in an effort to out compete other retailers.

That's a good price,there were two grind types originally the earlier models were great slicers due to a thinner cross section while later models have a thicker grind better suited for chopping.

Which type is this?
 
Hi, Sorry, the Kershaw Outcast has been sold. I'm not sure which model this is, since I haven't had a chance to see the two variations you mentioned. The edge appears to be intended for chopping, although it's just a bit less thick than I would like. Thanks for your interest.
