What do you all think?

i think you spend toooo much money on knives and tooo much time over at kens....let him get some work done......he told me hes broke.

While that is a nice looking blade, I would not call it a khukuri. The performance of a khukuri comes from the angled blade as relative to the handle. Grinding out the blade itself will not give similar performance, would probably slice really well though.

Ive said this before, and i think i will wind up saying it again-

Kens done it again, cool knife.

Note to Ken- THAT is the knife that you should do a semi production collaboratoin on!! ;-)

I don't know, it would be much nicer if the blade was a least a foot longer

I need a bigger bucket.

Would you take 75 $10 knives in trade?

True enough Cliff, the blade reminds me of a
Hybrid cross of a Brend Mod. 2 & Emerson
ESM-1 on Steroids. Looks like a very nice Slice & Dice working knife. Is it called a
Onion Khukuri ? or ?

Thanks guys ,
This knife, believe it or not is my pig knife .I use it for hunting pigs .I know it's not what most would use for a stabbing knife but I use it for clearing trail too.Thats why I've straightened it out from the conventional Kukri. So I can stab and chop in one knife it works really well to.

Aloha!!!Ken Onion

Ive built a couple of "pig knives" for local guys who would rather catch hogs than anything. They wind up using them 99.9% of the time to chop through a thicket, cut down a carry pole (after you catch a 400lb boar, you got to carry him out of the swamp somehow!), picking thorns out of there a--, etc....

These guys HATE to kill a hog, and i find most serious hog hunters are the same...they would rather catch than kill.

Any how, ive been a few times but still dont have the guts to get int there with a pissed off boar and grab him by the back legs, flip him and tie him.... Ide rather watch for now!!

Ken-
How Much? And how long do I have to wait?
You're one of the hottest makers around so I'd expect a long waiting period.

Hello Ken,

Love the grind lines on this knife. I bet the handle feels great!

What is the weight of this knife?

You guys keep updating the posts and I have to keep coming back to look at the knife. OK, I've upped my offer: 850 $10 knives in trade.

Thanks guys ,

I've actually been thinking about building fixed blades again.I personaly like them I just don't like making sheaths, I suppose if there was enough interest I might make a few . I've got two new fixed blades coming out in the Kershaw line in Jan,As well as 4 folders and three new locking mechanisms and possably a brand new kinda knife thingy that I'm not suposed to talk about yet.

Check out my web site www.park2.com/onion/

Oh the knife is D2 1/4 inch thick has roughly I think 9-10 inch blade hollow /convex grind , Rabett tang, black canvas micarta handle with flares about 5 3/4 "and a kydex breakaway sheath. I don't have a price as i never intended to sell it /them I built it for me (knifemaking has it's perks
