Ken Onion Mid Tech Boa

I performed a search and it yielded zip about my following questions.

I picked up a Mid Tech (I've been told) Boa at the Blade Show and was wondering about some of the specs on these. Some questions: What is the blade steel? How many were produced? How much did these list for when available? What is Ken's policy on refurbing the knife when the time comes? I emailed Ken, but I assume he is away from the computer.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I have seen two versions of the Mid Tech Boa, hollow and flat ground blades.

I think Chuck pretty well summed it up...nice pic Chuck!

Oh, and don't expect an email reply...Ken's pretty bad with the emails as he gets probably a couple hundred a week.

As far as how many were made, I know he had parts to make 50 of them...I'm not sure if he got another batch of parts in though...so I guess probably at least 50 have been made / will be made.

Thanks for the info guys. It appears I have one of the hollow ground versions. This knife is pretty sweet and compares favorably to his all-out customs.
