I have a ken onion work sharp electric sharpener. I like it well enough but struggle with some blades. I was looking into getting the blade grinder attachment but wasn’t sure. Is it worth it or should I just stick with the sharpener? anyone have any input on the grinder attachment?

It's 1000% worth it. In my opinion it transforms the KO from a fiddly annoyance into a truly useful machine. These days my main sharpening machine is a Tormek T-8, but I still use KO for power stropping with leather belts and it's great at that job. Prior to that I used the KO with grinder attachment to sharpen everything from pocket knives to kitchen knives to machetes to lawn mower blades. You won't regret it.

Absolutely, without a doubt, worth it! I agree with everything Blade Lab said above. I never use my WSKO without it, and it's my go-to system for sharpening cheap sets of kitchen knives for friends. Much better control and results using the BGA.
