To those of you that are Ken Onion fans you will be glad to know that he will be selling/displaying at the Solvang Knife Show next weekend. Dave Harvey just gave me this news and is excited about Ken being there.

That show date and information:

I remember when I first joined BFC, Ken used to post here a lot. IIRC he was recuperating from back surgery, and had the time when he could hang out. I have no idea when he posted here last.
 
Good to hear Mr. Onion is doing well. Also it is good to see he rides!

I was hoping to hear that his knives that were stolen would have gotten recovered and returned to him.
 
I did a Vegas knife show 3 years ago. I've never been into folding knives and at the time I didn't know of Ken Onion. My table at that show was right next to Ken's. What a shock it was for me to be find myself in a mass of humanity when he did the raffle thing for those wanting to get a chance to purchase one of his knives. He's a good fellow and I hope his back is doing fine. Last time I talked with him he sure was hurting.
 
I am glad to see that Ken will be making it to Solvang. From my limited interactions with him, I would say that he is truly a class act, and I'm looking forward to seeing both him and his knives there.
