Found one in ashop new no box o papers paid 12.50 how did I do. Its a nice knife if you are fond of flintlocks as I am as soon as I figure out photo bucket ill try to post picks........bigfish
 
Aw... you know you did good. That was one of the earlier commem/special editions that some give credit for starting the fad. Big Dog or one of the others will have to give you an approximate value and date, but I'll give you a laural and hardy handshake!

That is a great find, and an important one in the world of commemorative knives. AG Russell is offering a few of these that he 'set back' many years ago-- the serial numbered versions of this great knife. The cost is high, I would not expect these to increase much in value during my lifetime, so I'm not hot to have one. But sooner or later, in a badly written eBay item description, one or more of them will be available there. Or even at a knife show. Keep yer eyes open!

i have the kentucky rifle knife #346 dont know alot about it. it was dads and it burned in a house fire ib 86 . just handles got slighty burned
 
And just where did you say this little shop was? Great Find, feels good to get a bargain once in awhile.
