that's a slick looking sheath!
makes a good combo with the knife.

It is so beautiful I have tears in my eyes and goosebumps
on my arms, You were right Chris, It's a Beast!!!
I am going to chew up some serious wood with that baby.
And it still sticks out of the sheath a good amount!!
I think I may call it Monster.
Infinite Thanks Chris!!
Awesome job.
Joseph

Glad you like it Joseph. I asked him to allow enough handle to grab onto as the slim sheath it a pretty snug fit. It will stretch a little with use and should have great retention when settled. It rides up higher on the back so there is only about an inch and a half that sticks out, just enough to get a good grab on it.

It's perfect!!!
I'd hate to try to pull a Beast like that out of the sheath
with just my fingertips, Could lose a toe or all of them.:D

Damn I just saw this in the gallery and came over to ask if it had an owner already. Lucky dog. Nice job Chris this will be my next. Can't wait till you pull your goalie after the holidays.

M/W, great looking knife. Those black and blue liners really set off that Curly White Oak. Excellent color combo for that antique finish blade. The only thing that would make it look any better would be some wood chips or shavings all over that blade . . . .
Nice looking combo Chris, just something about a wide blade and a "pointy" tip on a knife that makes you want to grab you musket & coonskin cap and head to the hills . . . . . :D
Excellent work once again buddy . . .
Be safe.

Thank You for the kind words, I am
totally thrilled with the fine job Chris did
on this, His first Kephart, I feel honored
to be getting it and this is one knife that
will never be sold or traded, Oh, The wood chips
are coming soon. I will post pics and/or a video.
Joseph

Not bad for your first Kephart Chris, but it really needs orange liners.
Just kidding,:p love the blue/black combo.
Congrats Joseph,I think old Horace would be proud.

Thanks guys, I couldn't be
happier with the nice job
Chris did on his Kephart.
I like the orange liners
with the oak also but Blue
is my favorite color.

Im quickly becoming a fan! Very nice piece.

Murph, don't fight the urge and just get one, much easier on your blood pressure . . . . :)
I became the proud owner of two of, uh, one of Chris's knives today (other one belongs to Sally T. & is already in the kitchen butcher block ready for war tomorrow @ lunch time . . ).
I now know first hand what all these guys have been talking about when they say "scary sharp" . . .
Good luck with your choice, you won't be disappointed . . .
Be safe.

Chris, that is one big beautiful blade, and your sheath maker did an outstanding job as always. Now, where's the sign up
list for the batch run you're gonna have to do to fill all the orders? Lol. :p

Thanks Wilson. I already have seven orders for January!
