In preparation for a backpacking trip in the sangre de christo mountains this weekend, I made a couple of knives:
Kephart knife
This is pretty faithful to the original design, with only a few tweaks on my end
Steel: 1/8" 1084
Weight (mass): 6.65oz (188g)
Length: 9-3/32" (23.2cm)
Blade: 4-3/8" (11.1cm)
Handle: 'walnut' dymondwood
Handle thickness: tapers from 29/32" (2.3cm) to 11/16" (1.7cm)
Attachment: 4 nickel pins, 2 steel machine screws
Bush Bandit
This is a bushcraft version of my 'little bandit' design. It's meant as a neck knife that would be a companion to a larger knife. The cord-wrapped handle would normally bug me for a bushcraft knife, since it can't be cleaned, but I don't anticipate using this for food prep or skinning or anything.
Steel: 1/8" 1084
Length: 5.5" (13.9cm)
Blade: 2-1/8" (5.4cm)
Handle: 0.09" kydex scales under paracord
Weight (Mass): 2.7oz (77g)
Thanks for looking!

p.s. This is not a 'for sale' thread. These are for my personal use.
