Kephart Question

Do most Kepharts come with a 1/8" blade? I'm trying to pick my next model :cool:

They come in all thickness as far as I know

I think Mistwalker had/ has one in 3/16

It is usually determined by what steel is in stock

1/8th followed by 5/32nds seems to be the most common that I've seen.

That 3/16th must be a beast.
 
ive got one in 3/16 with a taper tang,,, its nicely balanced,,, will be giving it a good test out over christmas along with my silky saw,,, im camping out at Lake Manapouri in Fiordland for a few days
 
We do all of our models in various steel thicknesses and various handle thicknesses.
 
I'd look into the slimmer (1/8" - 5/32") versions. Then again, I like my knives really slicey! ;). To me, the Kephart looks like a big EDKarda and the other way around. I've wanted one for a while to go with my EDKarda and the Kephart thread isn't helping. LOL!

Probably mostly 1/8 at times at least. It seems more people prefer the 1/8. But I have had them in 1/8, 5/32, and 3/16. To me the 3/16 tapered is my favorite, but the mileage of others varies :)
