Kephart?

Has Busse ever made a Kephart?

In my years using a knife, I always seem to come back to the Kephart. Such a useful blade and comfortable handle. Right now I've been using my Lon Humohrey Kephart, I think he makes a great one.

Unfortunately, I don't have an infi Kephart. I know the Kephart isn't sexy or cool looking, but dang the knife just works for me.

I'd LOVE and infi Kephart! Not a monster version or super thick, just 4 to 5" blade that is about .18" thick and the general profile of a Kephart (forgot to add no choil) :cheerful: That would be a perfect user knife imo.

Has there ever been such a thing?

Maybe try to hunt down a BATAC LE it's about the closest thing based on your description that comes to mind quickly.

The Anorexic Boss Streets from a few years ago had a choilless option. Nice thin profile and razor sharp.

Wow, lol what a dumbie. I totally forgot about the CABS, I even own two (face palm).

I put my user back in the safe when I got my infidu (which is a great knife also!).

I had completely forgotten about the CABS, thanks for the reminder! Now if they'd bring them back in BIG finish so I can stock on them it's be perfect.

I also found my DSF in the back of the safe along with my CABS'. I put that away when I got my TG, but I had forgotten how awesome the DSF is. If I had to give up the DSF or the TG, I'd have to say I'd keep the DSF.

Thanks for reminding me about two of my favorite Busses that I had somehow forgotten!

OK I feel stupid. I must have 20 knives in this style and I never knew it was called a Kephart. I have been buying knives from Blind Horse now split into LT Wright and Battle Horse Knives for years. I have always called them Bushcraft knives. LOL. Learn something new every day.

Horace Kephart designed a knife and started a trend/revolution...

Andy Roy at Fiddleback Forge makes some WONDERFUL Kephart style knives with his own flair...

Give one a try!

Spending TONS of time in the woods each month, I have started the "one knife" rule. I take 1, just 1. I tend to carry a little large unless I'm backpacking. I love Fiddleback's Camp Knives and MANY of the Busse profiles. Recently a SHSHII has been my "one knife". Infi is impressive! Infi is VERY impressive! By the way, Andy Roy does make his Camp Knife in a production model in CPM3V! I find it really easy to keep both 3V and Infi SUPER DUPER sharp. Maybe Jerry will make us his take of a Kephart with talon holes and all...

I love the Kephart style. Fiddleback Forge and MLL Knives make the best rendition IMLTHO. I would love to see a Kephart in INFI.
