Kerambit ?'s

Recently saw a kerambit up close and now have the desire to get one. Couple of questions though which offer best bang versus buck, I've seen cheap ones and I've seen good one's while looking on net but no cheap good ones. Definitely want a folder and don't want to break the bank, any suggestions would be appreciated. Also would like to know about any books or websites that detail kerambit techniques and usage. Thanks in advance.

Im probably not the best source of info on kerabits, but if you want a folder, and good bang for your buck- I'd keep a close eye out for a spyderco, they dont make them anymore (to the best of my knoweldge) but if you look you might be able to find one for sale. And i dont see how you can get a better 'bang for your buck' than a spydie.

I have a Spydie karambit and it's been great. The frame lock is a must with a knife like this, fit and finish are superb, etc etc. These threads might help you:

Not sure what your spending limit is but emerson knives makes a sweet one, I have the fixed verson and its by far the coolest knife in my collection but it just screams felony so it stays at home alot. The smaller folder would get carried alot but I still need to buy it
