Grats on the new job Forsaken! Im ready for a new one myself. These kerambits are really sturdy blade. Love mine. I think Lachhu made it.

If you dig a kerambit, check out the book series called "the blood gospel" its what turned me on to them. So good.

I love mine from HI. The one with the ring is like yours by Lanchu. The other 2 are fighters by Ram Kumar A43A59DA-0867-4519-871B-63021B179FD7.jpeg 39966E1E-C316-4361-9905-52DB2E3EBB27.jpeg 2FA20399-5658-4C69-92CB-651C80A8534D.jpeg 77006CD9-74ED-47C6-AF98-7F7B8B1AB2D9.jpeg 2FA20399-5658-4C69-92CB-651C80A8534D.jpeg 77006CD9-74ED-47C6-AF98-7F7B8B1AB2D9.jpeg CD03E9D6-032D-4A2A-8995-6992CA81AC07.jpeg

I snatched them up real quick. Only ones I’ve ever seen. Both edges shave hair! If you pull a closeup of the top photo you can see hair.

The first ke(a)rambit i carried. Bought it as a blank and made a handle and kydex sheath. Me and this guy have been some places and through some stuff!

The thing I love the most about the HI version of the kerambit is while functioning as a kerambit it also works well as a regular useable knife for just about any regular cutting chores.
The kerambits pictured while probably ideal for fighting/defense/whatever aren't really great for much else.
I still want one, no question on that but my HI kerambit will always carry the day. I should carry it more but my little micro bowie has become a part of me.

I agree. The one i posted def served a single purpose. I switched to a fox karambit years ago since it is a folder. Its still not a utility knife so its a limited usage carry. Excited to carry this as a dual purpose carry!

I'm gonna guess stabilized maple with reddish dye. Just a shot in the dark but it looks familiar.

I honestly dont remember. Ill see if i can find the invoice for the wood tomorrow. I do remember drilling the blank for pins and the scales. I did hidden pins and epoxy to hold the scales. I did a fillet knife for my dad as well with cocobolo that turned out awesome. Ill post some pics tomorrow.
