kerambit

Most kerambits work well on the standard kali angles of attack. Depending on the style of the kerambit, most all knife techniques from kali will still work well. It's my understanding that a LaGriffe isn't exactly a kerambit because it works in a blade forward design, whereas kerambits work with reverse blade techniques.

Also, if you're looking for a less lethal version that doesn't look as sinister as your average kerambit, the Impact Kerambit designed by Datu Kelly Worden is an excellent self-defense device.
